Through all my volunteer Mozilla Webmaker & Hive Learning Community work, we began an organic partnership with Vancouver Maker Foundation, the local non-profit organization behind the annual Vancouver Mini Maker Faire.
In 2013, along with a handful of keen & awesome local contributors, we co-organized the Vancouver Maker Education Community group where we put up quarterly Maker Education themed events all over town using the hashtag #MakerEdBC.
